Gershon S. Kulek, Esq.

Gershon Kulek, a licensed attorney in New York and Illinois, is the firm’s veteran partner, with over 30 years experience as a Chicago family law & divorce lawyer in a variety of practice settings and specialty fields. Mr. Kulek’s resume is too lengthy to summarize, but in short, he is knowledgeable in family/divorce law, child custody, property division, civil litigation, personal injury, bankruptcy, eviction, foreclosure, and more. Throughout his career, Gershon has sought to utilize his skills and experience to assist others whose lives are in distress as a result of their legal situation.

Throughout his multi-decade career, Attorney Kulek has conducted numerous trials, gotten multiple very large cases dismissed, and been highly recommended by other attorneys to handle challenging or difficult cases, which he took on successfully.

Gershon graduated from Albany Law School, and completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Southern Methodist University. His education and legal experience have enabled him to greatly help Chicagoans by providing top-level litigation and divorce services, especially preferring to assist small business owners, distressed homeowners, middle-income landlords, and police officers.

Upon merger of his successful solo practice with Kulek, Hakimi, & Katz, Gershon has segued his active caseload to Attorneys Katz and Hakimi, while maintaining a special ongoing advisory role with the firm, in legal consulting, business development, and professional mentoring. In his personal life, Mr. Kulek derives satisfaction from Torah study, community leadership, and the company of his ten children and multiple grandchildren.
