Nathan grew up in Skokie, Illinois and mentored under the tutelage of his attorney grandfather and two psychologist parents until continuing the family tradition of entering a helping profession as a lawyer.
Upon finishing law school in 2017, Hakimi practiced at prestigious firms such as Sax Law LLC and HeplerBroom LLC, defending medical providers and clinics in malpractice litigation. He then spent a period at JPMorgan preparing complex financing arrangements for corporate banking customers. In 2022, he founded a solo legal practice which merged into the partnership of Kulek, Hakimi, & Katz in 2024.
Attorney Hakimi employs strategic, tactical approaches in and outside of the courtroom in the practice of commercial litigation, business transactions, and negotiation. Clients, judges, and counsels respect Mr. Hakimi for his intelligence and fairness; he bends at no obstacle to achieving success, while maintaining the integrity of the legal process.
Nathan finished his B.A. at Brandeis University, where he studied Cognitive Science and Film Studies, magna cum laude, in 2011. He then received his J.D. at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. He loves his family and home in West Rogers Park, his Jewish roots and culture, and employing his talents to vindicate people’s causes for justice, inside and outside the courtroom.
